Prior to forming Chen and Xue LLP, Song was Associate Counsel with a law firm in Richmond, British Columbia, handling various civil and commercial litigation cases.
He attended Shanghai International Studies University in Shanghai, China and received his Lawyer’s Qualification in 1998.
Song attended the University of British Columbia and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2008.
He represents individuals and companies involved in matters such as commercial contract disputes, real property litigation, construction and renovation, partnerships, breach of contract and corporations and trust disputes. He has also represented clients in family matters involving property issues.
He has appeared and conducted many trials before all levels of British Columbia courts and is experienced in mediations.
In addition to Song’s law practice, he teaches Comparative Legal Studies at the Legal Interpretation and Translation Certificate Program at Simon Fraser University.
